understanding that a reception area is constructed to both welcome and to regulate entry, this work is part of an ongoing dialogue with identity and its representation in the constructed environment. 'receptions' is a study of hotel reception areas. instead of wide angle views showing the whole area, the focus of these photographs is areas of detail; characteristics which make up our experience of these places.
